Europe month at DB: Taking a stand for a democratic Europe
For an entire month leading up to the EU elections on 9 June 2024 – Europe month – Deutsche Bahn, together with its employees with a European background, is using a number of channels to show that rail would be inconceivable without a united Europe. The campaign is called "DB is Europe!" Europe month is part of DB's commitment to the "We stand for values" business alliance. The group of 30 German companies are calling on their 1.7 million employees and all Europeans to vote in the upcoming European elections and are campaigning for an open, diverse and democratic Europe beyond 9 June.
Special ticket offers for the European Football Championship
The European Football Championship kicks off in Germany just a few days after the European elections. Deutsche Bahn is the national partner of UEFA EURO 2024 and has developed special offers for low-cost travel to and from the matches for fans from Germany, the rest of Europe and the world. Football fans who have managed to secure tickets for a match can buy a fan ticket for EUR 29.90 (or EUR 39.90 for first class). DB is also offering an extra special deal with its Fan BahnCard. What makes this BahnCard so special? If Germany wins the EURO, the Fan BahnCard will automatically be extended for a whole year – for free. In addition to its promotions for German fans, DB is also offering special Interrail passes with a 25% discount for European fans. The Interrail offer is flexible and customers can choose from different numbers of days of travel.
